Davide Ghiani received his BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2018, and his MSc degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence in 2022 from the University of Cagliari with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, discussing a thesis entitled “Feature engineering for the development of an explainable anomaly detection system in crowd analysis”.

Since 2018, he has collaborated with the Biometrics Unit of the Pattern Recognition and Applications Laboratory (PRA Lab).

Since October 2024 he is a Ph.D. student at the PRA Lab (supervisor prof. Gian Luca Marcialis). His main research interests focus on Identity Safe and Trust Solutions through deep learning steganography and crowd analysis.
